Dish launches RFD-TV in HD in all markets

Dish Network has launched RFD-TV in high-definition HD in all U.S. markets, the company announced today. RFD-TV (also known as RFD-HD serving high-definition broadcasts), focuses on the culture of farming and agriculture in rural America. The channel presents content from over 80 independent programmers ranging from rural news to music and entertainment.

The HD channel is available free-of-charge to customers with the America’s Top 200 or higher tier service package. RFD-HD can be found on Dish Channel 231. Also, customers who get the RFD-TV channel a la carte will get RFD-HD automatically.

RFD-TV launched in December, 2000 and can be found on the Dish Network and DirecTV channel lineups as well as through various cable and fiber-optic service providers.
