AT&T and Starz Entertainment made an agreement that will soon give U-verse TV premium subscribers online access to Starz Online and Encore Online. In addition, the agreement includes added distribution rights to MoviePlex On Demand, MoviePlex HD On Demand and MoviePlex Online.
The two companies also extended their current agreement for Starz’s premium channels, HD, and video-on-demand services.
AT&T’s U-verse currently broadcasts 17 premium channels and feeds from Starz which includes 13 Starz and Encore channels, as well as their flagship Starz and Encore channels (West Coast feeds), IndiePlex, and RetroPlex.
U-verse TV advanced services include Starz HD, Starz Kids & Family HD, Starz Comedy HD, Starz Edge HD, and Encore HD, as well as Starz On Demand, Encore On Demand, Starz HD On Demand, and Encore HD On Demand.
