HBO’s The Pacific is now available on Blu-ray Disc for 43% off the list price of $99. The six-disc set from HBO Home Video contains a total of 400 minutes of content spanning all ten parts of the Emmy Award-winning miniseries. Extras on the Blu-ray Disc box set include Enhanced Viewing, Field Guide, Profiles of the The Pacific, Making the Pacific, Anatomy of the Pacific War, Bonus View (PiP) and BD-Live.
The Blu-ray discs are formatted in 1080p AVC video with 1.78:1 widescreen ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Subtitles are offered in 13 different languages including English, Spanish and French.
The Pacific was produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and tells a realistic story of WWII’s Pacific Theatre campaign as told through three U.S. Marines. The miniseries was began showing on HBO on March 14, 2010. The series follows in the detailed and epic storytelling found in Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan.
