Disney/ABC, ESPN and Time Warner Cable have finally come to a long term agreement, releasing an official press release late yesterday afternoon announcing the details. The agreement extends current distribution arrangements and adds new programming from ESPN Goal Line, ESPN Buzzer Beater, Disney Junior (launching 2012), and ESPN3.com.

TWC and Bright House Networks will be able to continue to offer customers programming from Disney, ABC and ESPN (without any interruption), including ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN Deportes, and SOAPnet.

For local programming, the new deal will include WABC in New York, KABC in Los Angeles, WTVD in Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville, WTVG in Toledo.

High-definition versions of the channels are also part of the deal, including the addition of ESPN Deportes HD to TMC’s larger markets and ESPN 3D to Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks systems.

The agreement between the parties also extends access to online content and adds more video-on-demand options including the subscription VOD service “Disney Family Movies.”
