On Aug. 25th, Cox Communications will add College Sports HD to its high-definition lineup in Hampton Roads, VA. The HD network will be found on Cox channel 816, and will also be available in standard-definition on channel 216.
College Sports Network is a 24-hour network dedicated to college sports programming. The network is owned by CBS Corporation and is headquartered in New York, NY.
College Sports Network broadcasts in 480i (SDTV) and 1080i (HDTV) and is available through other television service providers including AT&T’s U-verse, Dish Network, and DirecTV.
CSPAN 3 will also launch on Aug. 25 in the Hampton Roads area, but will only be available in standard definition on channel 93.
