Comcast adds HD channels in Philadelphia and Delaware

Comcast recently added 50 HD channels to its lineup in North, West and Northwest Philadelphia areas. Now, the cable TV provider has added the same number of hi-def channels to market areas in Philadelphia and New Castle County, Delaware. The new channels include MSNBC HD, BET HD, Comedy Central HD, Cartoon HD, and Lifetime HD among others.

The areas that received the XFINITY TV high-def expansion are part of Comcast’s “World of More” digital upgrade (also code named Project Cavalry) which includes more dedicated HD channels, more HD titles On Demand and faster internet service.

For more info on available HD channels, visit Comcast’s website. Thanks Chris for the update.
