“Wii HD” now possible claims VGIDI

VGIDI, a company dedicated to “Innovative Design – Improving your life quality”, has recently advertised a product which claims to output in full 1080p HD from your Nintendo Wii. The VD-W3 Wii HDMI Upscaler Processor is the latest (non-emulation) product to offer Wii owners the ability to play their favorite games in HD.

Not much is known about this new product as of right now. According to the company web site, however, for a measly $75.00 the VD-W3 Wii HDMI Upscaler Processor will easily offer you the following:

Powerful Video Signal conversion

  • Crystal shape image, Outstanding picture quality.
  • Full HD (1080p) output.
  • True 10-Bits high definition video scaler engine.
  • AV grade scaler engine

User Friendly

  • No external power required.
  • Easy to setup.
  • LED status indication.

Wide Range Video Display support

  • Support TV (HDMI) and PC Monitor (DVI).
  • HDMI-Audio and Analog audio out.
  • Various HDTV video out.
  • Native resolution for LCD monitor.

I, personally, can’t wait to try this product out for myself. The thought of playing Super Mario Galaxy in full 1080p is almost more than I can handle. While the jury is still out on the “actual effectiveness” of this product, the screenshots over at VGIDI’s web site look absolutely gorgeous.

Stay tuned for more info on the VD-W3 Wii HDMI Upscaler Processor as we, here at HD Report.com, get a chance to try it for ourselves.
