Blu-ray picks for Dec. 8

In Universal Studios’ Public Enemies John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) is named “Public Enemy #1” and hunted by the FBI including top agent Melvin Purvis played by Christian Bale. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the fifth installment of the Harry Potter series and what some might call the “darkest” of the series from Warner Home Video. And, Julie & Julia stars 2-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep as Julia Child along with Amy Adams as writer/blogger Julie Powell who challenges herself to cook her way through all 524 recipes in Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking.

For holiday gifts consider Lost: The Complete Fifth Season (containing all episodes plus never-before-seen bonus features), Harry Potter Years 1-6 Giftset (covering the first 6 years including the newest “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”), The Arnold Schwarzenegger Blu-ray Collection (Commando, Predator, and The Terminator).
